I was asked by Cooney Architects to document their newly completed Visitor Centre complex at the foot of the magical and historical Hill of Uisneach, in the wilds of WestMeath.
The hill itself is an extraordinary place, rich with archaeology, heritage and legends. The local landowners have, by building this visitor centre, given a safe point of access to this historic place and Cooney Architects have weaved architecture into it's surroundings, in a configuration and expression that is both sensitive and expressive.
Definitely worth a visit! More info about the Visitor Centre HERE and some of my photos are HERE!
